Hello, I am Neda Shahidi. For as long as I remember I have always loved to draw and take photos. I began as a fine-artist then studied Graphic Design in 1998. In 1998 my poster ‘Live & Let Live’ won the ‘Sam Lewis Peace and Environment Award’ in the UN Year of Oceans. I further developed my interest in design and studied Visual Communication. I later decided to further develop my skills and studied Master of Animation as I feel that animation provides an unlimited state of freedom to explore the world of ideas and beauty. I also explored different methods of animation from 2D and stop motion to 3D and cut-out. I believe that each strategy speaks with a different voice allowing the animator to create a unique connection with their audience. Animation allows a universal connection that creates the ability to be viewed globally and can express an intimate message that is largely understood throughout the world. I currently aim to establish a strong balance between photography, art and design and animation in my pursuit of creating different ways of seeing. I am an animator and visual communicator located in Sydney, Australia. Passionate in creating original artwork and expression by integration of various medium and techniques combined with digital media for all sources of visual communication from print to web, screen design and animation. Strong background in graphic design, photography, creating short films and editing, fine art and animation.
Following more than decade of experience and academic knowledge I Found Animotion Design Studio in 2016, with the idea of creating original and unique look from branding to marketing for standing up from the crowd.
